We normally use long matches from the supermarket. Sometimes though, they aren't quite long enough.

That's where these whoppers come in.
We can reach every corner of our stove with them. They are really useful.
They're a bit pricey to use all the time but definitely a product we will keep buying.
Remember to hold them near the lighting end when striking them or they will break.

Log Barn Natural Firelighters

Great little product, simple and very efficient fire lighter. No residue or smell with it just a fierce starter to a fire. Excellent way to start the fire with kindling and small logs.

Bought this chimnea after much research and so glad I did. It arrived within 2 days, was very simple to set up and even comes with a chimney lid! It’s light enough to move its location myself and to store in shed but still sturdy and well made and love the ‘LOG BARN’ logo on the pipe.
Got to light it last night for first time and it lit easily and burned beautifully all evening, giving off lots of cosy heat and very few sparks (previous chimnea with mesh body allowed too many sparks out to be safe).
Tip: Also follow the recommendation to use kiln dried hardwood logs for less smoke and more heat output.
